What can I get from Hawaiian kupua healing methods that I don't get from anyone else?

Anything you wish and, in some cases, almost instantly. Let's look at the term "infinite universe." This phrase implies that there are no limits and that anything is possible-- if you can figure out how to do it! We often build parameters, or boundaries, to what we think we can achieve or obtain. This works on the physical healing level as well as material gain. Freeing yourself of prior limitations can open a door to fantastic possibilities. Personal examples are given in the book, but so are documented cases from dozens of clients experiencing remarkable changes in their lives, often within minutes.

Why did you write this book?

I once lived out of my automobile and woke up to snow covering the windows. I now live comfortably in what is generally considered as paradise. We all have innate abilities to change what we consider "hell" to be a fruitful, productive and harmonious life with this physical plane. The concepts and methods provided are meaningful for laymen and "rocket scientists" alike, for even the rocket scientist looks for ways to relieve stress.

How will the book help my love life?

If you are married, it will give techniques to reestablish and/or strengthen the bond. If you are seeking a mate, it provides a formula for increasing your charisma and drawing a like-minded person into your physical reality. It cuts through any pretentions that will ultimately result in a resistance to drawing your perfect relationship and gives you the confidence to increase your power of love to attract an ideal partner.

I've heard about Huna. Isn't that some kind of magic or voodoo?

Let's look at the word magic. A compass "magically" points North to those unaware of the properties of magnetism. A computer "magically" allows people to contact each other from thousands of miles away to those unaware of its technology. Huna is a system that brings awareness to those who are unfamiliar with the powers of the mind and the forces of Nature. So, yes, right now it may seem as magic to you. When one can develop and master this most ancient of inner technologies, the magic disappears and it becomes a way of living. As you read the Adventurer's Quest, you see how some of Huna's "magic" is very much taken for granted by scientists and mystics alike.

Voodoo, or "Verdun" is a West Indies form of healing and/or sorcery. It is not Huna or shamanism as a practice, but often used more for gaining power instead of for healing. Inflicting harm to others has been documented as a detriment to one's own well-being, and Huna talks of no such thing. Misconceptions of the unknown often arise as the imagination "conjurs" up images reflecting the fears of the individual. Huna teaches of love and harmony with all things, a direct opposite of that notion.

What is the difference between your book and Serge King's works?

Experience and approach. It is like Socrates, Plato and Aristotle. They all purported ideas based on the same premises, but used different approaches, new ideas and expansions of the core philosophical system, thus creating their own individualism from which others could learn. Serge is a great teacher and healer, yet in an unlimited universe, infinite healing techniques and approaches are available. The Adventurer's Quest comes from my interpretation, experiences and applications of the Huna kupua way. You could also compare it to getting two opinions from doctors before going into surgery!

I don't like hospitals. After reading your book can I cancel my medical insurance?

I do not advise it. We are blessed to have a tremendous variety of healing modalities available to us. Funny thing is, not one method works for all. Aspirin, for example, helps millions of people, but does not resonate well with millions more. Each mind is different and each body has different structure. The Huna kupua embraces any method that will help you restore your health. Hawaiian healing uses hands-on, psychological and spiritual approaches, but there may be times when you feel better if you talk with a physician or doctor. Western medicine has come a long way over the past 500 years and I highly recommend that you speak with their professionals before you look into alternative or complementary healing methods. When it comes to optimal health, use all the resources at your disposal in which you feel most secure.

I'm a Christian. I'm not supposed to read this kind of stuff

Your path then, is one of love. I have a Masters Degree in Comparative Religion and am an ordained minister, so can appreciate your spiritual base. The path of Hawaiian Huna kupua healing can be a tool for anyone, since it works within the beliefs of the individual. It is not dogma, religious tenet or set in any one belief structure or another. Its basic principles embrace the openness of humanity to effect change in their lives in the most effective way possible for them. You'll be surprised at the number of references concerning faith that are cited in The Adventurer's Quest. Equally astounding is that the Hawaiian Islands are much more Christian oriented today than most communities in other parts of the world. What was the attraction that produced such a harmony between old and new?
